Christmas Eve in Pictures
Yesterday, on Christmas Eve, I took a photo every hour, for every hour I was awake. I was hoping to capture the story of the day, and interested in seeing if the pictures would tell me anything about my day that I didn’t already know. In the end, I found out that my day is a lot of cooking, riding in cars, and eating and drinking.
Disclaimer – I have heard of other bloggers doing this; if I knew who the originator of the idea was I’d give credit. I’m not taking credit for the idea.

12 pm. Cooking hashbrowns for a casserole sort of thing for tomorrow I also assembled pumpkin cinnamon rolls that you can’t see here. Dressing slobby.

2 pm. The sprawl. Thom and I go to Petsmart to buy Christmas presents for our dogs. (Echo got a leash, Meeka got a blanket.)

4 pm. Driving back from the airport through grey skies and desolate sprawl. its hard to find a picture.

7 pm. Putting on makeup, getting ready to go out to Lee Harvey’s. Yeah, I look crazy, and you can’t tell what I’m doing.

9 pm. The downtown Nieman Marcus’ Christmas display. We forgot Lee Harvey’s is closed on Monday, and headed for Idle Rich instead.

10 pm. After trying Idle Rich and Renfield’s, which were both closed, we found a winner with the Knox Henderson Vickery Park.

12 am. As it turns Christmas, Thom and I stop for a photo op on the way into the other, more 15th Street Vickery Park.

2 am. I eat a hastily made burrito and watch bones before bed. Booth almost tells Bones that he’s in love with her.

This is a fucking awesome idea. I want to do something similar for an occasion or holiday, too!
Loving the Skrillex hair, wish I could pull it off!!
Its really fun to do. I was thinking it would be cool to try to do a picture every hour, every day, every hour I’m awake.. but I can’t really take pictures at work, and I’m not sure even I can stay interested in every hour of my day every day..
